And there were only 23 teams in League One this season! To be fair, we'd probably have more success playing against Oxford than Wycombe...

Hairy Canary 700 Posted July 14, 2020 3 minutes ago, ricardo said: A triumph for kick and rush and a centre forward who can run through brick walls. Yes interesting. It shows there is no one way to win a game of football. Certainly at League 1 level a physical and direct approach can take you a long way. Personaly I was pleased it was WW who came through. Oxford will form part of a very strong League 1 next season.
Bill 1,788 Posted July 14, 2020 Still makes no sense My point being that your (enjoyable) reports are based on what you have seen - not idiotic number, and if those numbers in the above game are correct that merely underpins my point
Rich T The Biscuit 562 Posted July 14, 2020 They'll upset a few next season with that style of play, the left back Jacobsen has one hell of a left foot and they have good aerial ability and will be dangerous from corners and free kicks, oh goody.......🤦♂️
sonyc 5,515 Posted July 14, 2020 Will they still bring the Beast on though for the last 20? Or will they refresh the squad. History suggests he will still be there (playing a mix of veterans)
Bill 1,788 Posted July 14, 2020 Three 'chairs' for Wycombe ps an interesting point - Bodging is a traditional woodturning craft, using green (unseasoned) wood to make chair legs and other cylindrical parts of chairs. The work was done close to where a tree was felled. The itinerant craftsman who made the chair legs was known as a bodger
