Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted January 31, 2006 As I remarked in a post under the Bentley thread I think Birmingham are taking a huge gamble on this one. It seems a risky signing for a club under pressure from relegation! Clearly the lad has got pace and bags of potential but to pay £500,000 rising to £1 million for a player who has only played 28 professional games in his career for lower league sides is risky. I can''t help but feel his pace will be nullified by superior defending in the prem. I think if I was a Birmingham fan I''d be worried by this one.
