When might fans return..

You can't have socially distanced crowds. It has to be all or nothing in my opinion.

Yes that is the $64,000 question Nutty.

I did hear that the club were keen to either play with the ground either full or empty with nothing in between but they might have changed their stance on that now that we're almost certain to be back in the Championship on parachute money. I think it would be very hard to fairly organise a partially seated ground anyway.

I love it how the Professor says, " Some people do tend to take in drinks before the game "

He's clearly not been to many games this season 😀

Take drinks in before the game....

I occasionally take a 'bijou' hip flask into Carra if it's a midweek game & I'm not going into the City on the lash afterwards. My 'hippy' is usually  topped up to the brim with a quality single malt.....I suppose if push comes to shove, I could always use it as an expensive hand sanitiser?....

Will almost certainly be a 'phased' return potentially starting at say, 25% capacity, moving up to 50%, 75% and then 100% assuming the virus infection rate locally stays low. Likely to be 'names in a hat' job to pull out the 'lucky' (or should that be 'unlucky) ones! Forget about sitting in your own seat, you'll probably be allocated a seat somewhere.

Yes that may well be how they decide to proceed.

Personally I can't see myself going at all next season, 100% full or not, so I'd be quite keen to get a refund with an option of renewing again for season 2021/2.

I am assuming that even though it is Carrow Road the Elite 750 will get first shout ?

For away games. But they'll have to take a car each.

It will be interesting to see how any future regional lockdowns are handled. Will some clubs have play BCD whilst others are permitted 100%?

Reduced controlled capacity will be the way ahead and I don't think we'll see 27,000 in Carrow Rd anytime soon. The club will have to spend some money adopting one way systems and improving the toilets.

Just hope they can find a vaccine soon as otherwise some won't see the inside of FCR again.

I assume for home games all those in the blankets will not be allowed in as during this pandemic they are surely classified as vunerable ?

Depends when the season starts and what the advice is.

I certainly think old people who get breathless quickly should take more care...

If the fare on display since the restart is anything to go by no one need worry about getting breathless over the action on the pitch 😉

If it's still behind closed doors, or even a few get in, it won't be so easy for those who like to watch these "non events" on TV.

I either want to sit in my seat or not go at all. I don't want to be allocated 5or 6 random games thru the season either. Behind closed doors for at least another six months then see what the situation is.

Id also  ban away fans completely next season to let as many home fans go as possible. The travel surely increases risk plus away fans always seem to enjoy a few more  beers so wont be great at social distancing! Also if fans started coming in half way thru the season you'd get clubs saying were not giving you an away allocation as we didn't get one off you earlier in the year.

Social distancing and access to the facilities is the obvious problem . Carrow Road is probably much more of a problem than most grounds as we have 20000 plus season ticket holders and 27000 capacity. Many clubs attendance  will allow social distancing quite easily when the time comes as they are only half or a third full anyway. It may be time to give Kings Lynn a look in the interim in the Conference now 8000 capacity and 1000 average gate

Personally I think the best way of rationing seats is by gentlemen’s sausage length. The longer the sausage the more games you get to see.

its democratic and a fair system

So anybody under eight inches ( even on a cold day ) will be excluded then ?

I dare not ask how the ladeeeez will qualify for a seat.

Theoretically it need not be a problem if everybody has to wear masks and there is efficient thermal imaging upon entrance.

But, this virus defies theory and there are so many contradictions from the specialists that back to normal would appear to be a risk.

Also, a lot depends on the figures two weeks after July 4th.

Has anyone enquired about the ladies sanitary items provided FOC in the ground these days- I assume they do not have a 'Best before' date?

I know Robin Sainty from the Canaries Trust is having sleepless nights as this has been his major life achievement

Sorry but your cunning plan falls at the first hurdle Waveney.

The longer the sausage the less games you get to see due to social distancing.

Never mind Errol 😉
