Open Letter To All Villans

Recommended Posts

Dear Mr Villan, Mrs Villan & Junior Villans,

I regret to inform you that your team, Aston Villa are relegated. This is due to the fact that your closest relegation rivals (Watford & West Ham) are due to play Norwich City very shortly and they are therefore guaranteed the three points against the wingless Canaries. So much so, that every single Hornet and every single Hammer has been down to the bookies this morning to put their mortgages and life savings on it (who wouldn't given that the Canaries concede in every game and never score).

I know it is scant consolation, but Delia is delighted that you are joining her back in the Championship; so much so that she is offering you all a complimentary egg (with instructions on how to boil it.)

Commiserations,

Vince

I’d be very happy to lose to both and see them go down, people have forgotten their fans missive ego when Lambert jumped ship! ****e Brummie club, only one club in that area and that WBA, great set of fans.

In fairness Indy, they were class when we won the league there last season (totally hear you about the Lambert era though). They were one of those clubs I really really disliked prior to that but I changed my opinion of them after that day. I heard Stuart Webber said they went the extra mile that day. I’d love to beat those smug West Ham cretins to the title next season though but I have a feeling they’re staying up.

Yes I get that, but that’s the club, their fans are still very much a bunch of ....... still want them down, be fun to see how they get dismantled next year.

The fans were actually in the main remarkably complimentary towards us after the last day, Indy - VillaTalk was not the place I remembered!

if they are joined by B'mouth then it could be a fun summer, as they are also up to their necks in debt

Villa had to flog their ground and B'mouth have a ground fit, in size, for L1

and given that WBA  are less than 5 miles away from Villa there will be plenty of pee taking if they pass each other

Vince i think your account may have been hacked as i cannot spot your favourite expressions ' the Suffolk socialists ' or ' the boy Tom ' anywhere in that opening post.

The only shame would be that we'd have to accommodate their travelling fans again next year, I've never come across a bigger bunch of c0(kwombles. I can't see it happening, but I was pinning my hopes on seeing them finish bottom. Wolves fans were pretty awful too, must be something in the water.

I wouldn’t worry, won’t be any fans next season

Add to that the farcical play off matches between the two last year, West Brom were rather hard done by in the first game, stonewall penalty not given and villas men on yellow seemed to be able to foul all week long!

Mixed feelings about this as on the one hand it would be funny to see them relegated, we really need to stop the rot.

Losing every remaining game won't help at all.

Villa are going down whether or not we win or lose our remaining games against their relegation rivals.

But we might lose them in the summer when the big boys come knocking. They are above Championship standard of course.

Best to keep him around as backup, for now.
