Worst Premier League In Living Memory

Recommended Posts

Whilst Liverpool has been magnificent beyond belief this has to be the worst PL ever. The bottom 5 are utterly atrocious and I can see one of them surviving with 30 or 31 points.

In most seasons all clubs from around 10th down have one eye on the teams below them as they know they could find themselves in a relegation battle. Not this season. as only the bottom six have had that feeling. I really see no point in getting promotion when we are so uncompetitive and have no intention of being otherwise.

2004..i think??.....all 3 of leeds, wolves and leicester went down with 33 points. People talk about how many wins are needed to stay up. Ultimately you need one more pojnt than whoever finishes 3rd bottom, which could well be an unusually low total.

It has been woeful at the bottom of the table, which makes are failure to have a proper go all the more frustrating.

What frustrates me is just how easily and quickly we've crumbled.

We've gone from playing some of the best football I've seen last season, to starting well this season, earning a deserved victory vs Man City, to what we're churning out this year.

I think this group of players and this coach are capable of better. It's very frustrating that it's just not happening.

You missed the word "Club" in the thread topic

That’s because we are not as that honour goes to Derby County. That’s not much of a comfort right now though.
