Anybody else looking forward to the Championship next season?

Recommended Posts

Yep, I've been looking forward to it since October, much to the chagrin of some on here.

The Prem is abject ****e unless you're big 6/spending hundreds of millions. Everyone else is playing for the glory of midtable.

Boring. as. ****.

Can't wait to get back to proper footy in the Champs.

If Fleetwood don't get promoted it will be none for me.

I will be able to get some tickets for once (well, once every 2 years hopefully)

Least we might win more often, right?

Yes can’t wait we are so far out of our league at the moment it’s embarrassing. Can’t say apart from Man City match I’ve enjoyed this league at all

Remember when we went down in 04-05, when we all thought we'd win more games? Going down and coming back/winning more games sadly isn't always an easy task.

But then on the flip side, if we are just going to be hoping to win the league again, we will no doubt be in this position again in 2 years time, getting d*cked week in week out in the Prem and finishing bottom, because when we go up, nothing ever changes. It's all very, very dull.

So maybe a ropey season in the Championship wouldn't be all that bad.

I don't think any of us are particularly glad that he does.

Definitely. Does anyone really want to see that week after week? You go to watch your own team not the opposition. And you don't go to see them lose every week.

Yes, that's one of the more depressing things about this season. One win every six weeks or so ? Not great.

On the plus side I did get to go to Old Trafford, St James's Park and White Hart Lane again in the space of about four weeks. Three great grounds.

Pity we only managed one point...

I want to see NCFC in the premier league, I just want us to build and have players that can compete.

Every player wants to play in the league and I hate them saying we are learning.

I just feel we have never gone up with a team where we have felt anymore than 17th is possible. I also feel what makes it worse we have seen some terrible teams that have final places above us.

I spoke to mates today about how you had to beat those teams you came up, beat teams at key games early in the season.

We have some cracking players, buendia, pukki, krul who are prem players but we are missing a genuine spine.

Our defensive frailty was well known and we didn't remedy that problem.

We all knew and I want to know who blabbed to all the other managers.

Keith? Lincoln?

Not looking forward to it at all.

We're doing down weaker than we came up with Tettey and Klose being another year older, we'll lose some talent, and we won't invest the money we need to.

Anybody thinking we'll walk that league is living in a dream world.

Will be like the Worthington relegation all over again.

I hope not but it's always harder than people think. On loan to the Endesleigh is still a painful memory.

Please can we have some dispensation the next time we’re promoted. Take the money but agree to remain in the Championship and cut out the middle man.
