keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted June 17, 2020 Very difficult for the pundits to big this up. I have never seen football, with the apparent integrity of the game at stake, that has been resumed to finish off some important matters, look, sound and be so bizarre. The players are nowhere near match fit and some look to having muscle problems. The only thing the same as pre lockdown is that David Luiz is siht.
Capt. Pants 4,090 Posted June 17, 2020 From a neutral perspective I'm not really missing the fans. Understandable players will be extemely rusty but it is a difficult watch. Then again it's typical sterile Premier League stuff and reminds me why I never really missed football over the last 3 months. Â
TIL 1010 4,655 Posted June 17, 2020 I gave the wife the remote control ( yes i am allowed it sometimes ) and told her to switchover to watch whatever she wanted. Ended up with Corrie which she had recorded. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

......and Smith must score. 1,304 Posted June 18, 2020 At least the result means the Scousers can’t clinch the title at Goodison. Anything that rains on their parade suits me.
Clint 221 Posted June 18, 2020 (edited) I think Liverpool potentially being able to clinch the title at Goodison would’ve been good for us. You’d expect that Everton would give everything to stop that from happening. As we’re playing them only a couple of days later, that could’ve made a difference to their performance level against us.
