nutty nigel 7,351 Posted June 17, 2020 (edited) Welcome to Rays Funds, supported by Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus. It’s great to be back! Although thanks to you all Rays Funds never actually stopped and since week 32 got cancelled this community have managed to stay together and even others joined in with the things we did. And most importantly the pot kept growing. We presented £3,000 to the CSF in May but thanks to some great pledges and donations by Monday of this week we had already raised another £303. But it didn’t end there because our brilliant supporters Kare Plus sent us a fantastic donation to the presentation pot bringing it up to £803. KP’s wonderful generosity and on-going support of our threads through next season is nothing short of phenomenal. Their work in the community is invaluable. Even more so during this pandemic. Thank you so much Kare Plus on behalf of all us PUPs, the CSF and all our wonderful pan-disability boys and girls. Also a massive thanks to PUPanon who has committed to funding the Norwich picks this summer and through next season. Again this wonderful generosity and on-going support is invaluable to our fund-raising. So far this season the Norwich picks have raised over £300. And of course massive thanks to Turner European Consulting whose generous support is also invaluable and part of the reason we have been able to present the CSF with over £5,000 since 2018. You PUPs really are amazing! I’m often asked how this all works but it’s so hard to explain. I’ve decided the best I can do is say it’s a little miracle performed with PUPpower by our PUPs and supporters on the Pink Un. For more information on our sponsors take a look at their websites below:- http://www.turnereuropeanconsulting.com/ https://www.kareplus.co.uk/norwich/ This week we have @Hector Brockelbank picking the final six results. Hector was having a great season when the pandemic struck and is right in contention for the profitability league on +4.65 over the season. I’m sure he’ll pick up where he left off so we are in very good hands this first week back. Hector is already on the honours board having a previous win making these selections so let’s all help him to win number two with our very best suggestion from the games played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of this weekend that are listed on the Bet 365 web site. We have @lincsy88 making the final selections for our beloved Canaries game against Southampton. Lincsy was also having a brilliant season on +5.41 and in third place in our profitability league when the pandemic struck. Lincsy’s just the man for this first week back. We will need to be on the ball with our picks because we need the suggestions by Friday lunchtime. Lincsy you have a tenner to spend split between the PUPs picks and your own. Here is the revised rotas for the next couple of weeks : - Six Results 27/06/20 – @Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 04/07/20 – @Mandie Moos Mear Kat - Confirmed Norwich Picks 27/06/20 – @Hissing Sid – Confirmed (This will be the game we honour Superfan Chellecity) 04/07/20 – @KiwiScot So now I’ll hand the thread over to Hector Brockelbank and Lincsy88. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous pan-disability boys and girls. Good luck Oliver and Sam, the thread is yours....🙃....... Kathy 728 Posted June 17, 2020 Welcome back everyone. Another tiny piece of normality falls into place. I’ll go with Inter to beat Sampdoria please. For City's game it’s really tough. I expect everyone will be a bit rusty but so will Southampton. I’ll go 1-0 Pukki. Good luck all.
Diesel Doris 122 Posted June 17, 2020 Hi all, great to have this thread back. Hope you are all well. ATLETICO MADRID v Valladolid HOME WIN. Good luck Hector and all you Lovely PUPs For the Norwich bet I'll go with a 2-1 win. Just hope we play a lot better than we did at St Mary's ( That was a cold night!) Best of luck lincsy
Hissing Sid 146 Posted June 17, 2020 Isn't it great to be back? It's a Sunday offering from Spain for me... Valencia v Osasuna - Home Win. For the match bet, the "little miracle" starts here. City 2 Saints 0. Best of luck Hector, Lincsy and all you PUPs.
TIL 1010 4,656 Posted June 17, 2020 A very good evening to you Nutty and good luck to Hector and Lincsy not forgetting all you other lovely PUPs out there. I will go for a HOME WIN for WEST BROM v Birmingham. The Norwich bet 1-1. What a wonderful gesture by Kare Plus and thanks ( I know who you are 😜 ).
Feedthewolf 4,789 Posted June 17, 2020 Hooray, we're back! Best of luck to everybody this weekend, not least Hector and Lincsy. Fingers crossed we can get off to a winning start. This has got to be even tougher than international weeks to pick a winning six, but I'm confident Hector can pull it out the bag. My form this season has been patchier than rural broadband, but I'm still stridently confident that Borussia Moenchengladbach will get a result on the road at Paderborn. Form guides are relatively insignificant at this juncture, although Paderborn have been consistently poor all season and are already relegated, whereas Moenchengladbach are fighting for a Champions League place. Their last away game was at Bayern, and they only lost 2-1, so they should have more than enough to see off Dennis Srbeny's new buddies. As for the Citeh match, I'm backing the Goat to take the first chance that comes his way. Teemu Pukki first goalscorer should be in the region of 100/30. Let's do this! lincsy88 93 Posted June 17, 2020 Thanks for the intro nutty and good luck all. It's a tough one to know where to go with everyone just coming back but I'll plump for a win for atletico Madrid at home to Vallidolid. @nutty nigel I'll post my picks about half 2 friday does that give you enough time mate? KiwiScot 1,418 Posted June 18, 2020 Welcome back some Pups. Nutty I'm good for those picks that week. Top 6 I'll post later For Lincsy a bet builder - 51/1 - Over 2 goals, Danny Ings to score, Max Aarons to be booked and Norwich to Win.
KiwiScot 1,418 Posted June 18, 2020 (edited) Alright Top 6 for Hector. I can't resist. Early morning game with added risk. Underperforming Seoul FC host title chasing Ulsan Hyundai FC. Seoul v Ulsan - Away Win Edited April 12, 2021 by KiwiScot
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,703 Posted June 18, 2020 It's tough to predict with so little form to go on, but my pick is a match-fit Juventus, who have already played two cup games, to win away at Bologna. The price is around 8/15. For Norwich, I'll go for a straightforward home win, priced up at a generous 21/10. I also confirm that I'm free to select the final six next week.

Pockthorpe 515 Posted June 18, 2020 (edited) Here we go then !! Liverpool to get one step closer , so Everton v Liverpool away win . For the Norwich game , at the risk of sounding like a broken record this season , I’ll go Emi to score first . Good luck Hector and Lincsy and all the PUPS . Edited June 18, 2020 by Pockthorpe

NFN FC 1,110 Posted June 18, 2020 Good evening all, God, it's good to be back. I'll be picking from the Romanian league Botoșani vs Cluj AWAY WIN! And for our game 2-1 to us and Pukki to score twice! OTBC Good luck everyone!
ZLF 261 Posted June 19, 2020 (edited) West brom home win is my pick. As for us, a win with a clean sheet. Edited June 19, 2020 by ZLF
Lessingham Canary 99 Posted June 19, 2020 Feels like a bit of normality, with Rays funds back to its usual format I would suggest home win for Getafe v Eiber Sat 6.30pm ko For the city bet This game reminds me of Man City earlier in the season, so many injuries went to the game expecting the worst, so for that reason i am staying positive with a 2-1 win and Klose to score anytime. Good luck all OTBC
Diane 498 Posted June 19, 2020 West Brom home win please For us 3-1 with Pukki to score anytime Good Luck Pups Only 16 picks so far, come back everyone, lets be aving you 🤣
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted June 19, 2020 It's good - and slightly weird - to be back. Form is probably out of the window but I'm going to visit - with a mask and appropriate distancing - Italy and Serie B. Promotion-chasing Pordenone should beat relegation-threatened Venezia. Shall we have some optimism for us? I think we'll win 2-0. Good luck all.

SNL. Maribor to win at home against Rudar. Home and away statistics may not matter so much, but Rudar have lost 10 and drawn four of their 14 away. Tenth and bottom, they are pretty much doomed to relegation, while Maribor can catch the top side for the one Champions League place. This is the second game back for both and as a form guide Rudar lost at home on Wednesday to the team in 8th, while Maribor won away yesterday against the team in 9th. The odds are around 1/6. Good luck to all!
Cosmic Twin 180 Posted June 19, 2020 It’s great to have this back - but it feels slightly strange as it’s June! I’m going for a home win for Shakhtar Donetsk v. Okeksandria. Not convinced that stats count for anything but this league has been playing for a while and Shakhtar have started well, Oleksandria haven’t! Good Luck, Hector! Sorry I was too late for the match pick, they look great. Good Luck, lincsy!
