The Great Mass Debater 1,202 Posted June 12, 2020 Trialling a demo of FM 2020. Thought the player values were interesting... Krul - 12.75m Aarons - 18.75m Godfrey - 16.25m Klose - 6.75m Lewis - 11.5m Rupp - 13.5m Trybull - 10.5m Buendia - 28.5m Duda - 9m Stiepermann - 10.25 Pukki - 25m Zimmermann - 12.75 Cantwell - 15m Byram - 10.75m Drmic - 10.25m Hernandez - 13.5m Tettey - 3.8m Hanley - 10.5m Vrancic - 8.75m Leitner - 9.75m McLean - 10.5m Thoughts? Indy 3,471 Posted June 12, 2020 😂 if we can get 10.5 million for Hanley and McLean, then I think great, but looks to me like the values are a little unrealistic, or done by a Scottish Newcastle supporter!
BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted June 12, 2020 That totals nearly £250m. Perhaps on the high side?
Mr Angry 2,014 Posted June 12, 2020 FM2020 came out last November, I don’t remember the values being this high at the start. Is this a demo for 21?
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 4,615 Posted June 12, 2020 Player values mean nothing on FM.

Whenever I get a new version (Iv exhausted FM16 I think) I tend to explore the game as Norwich until I feel confident to start a more interesting game! I downloaded the French Leagues to about level 13 (id never played in France before). Had to quit in the end as my regens were too good. My 14 year olds would rinse teams with ease. And the cup competition in the first rounds took forever to process as so many teams were playing

Of that list I sold Buendia for £42m but only got £3m for Hanley and £5m for Trybull for example.
Mason 47 1,921 Posted June 14, 2020 I'd actually say they look fairly standard. The only real outlier for me is Rupp (unless FM know something we don't). Duda looks a little low maybe but I assume he's 'not needed' by Herta which naturally drags that value down
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 4,615 Posted June 14, 2020 It's just like real life really, in the sense that the actual price of a player is determined more by how important he is to the club, if he's asked to leave, the level he's playing at etc. If you could clone a player to make three copies of him, one of which is a squad player at a big club, one is a key player at a lower mid-table Premier League club and one is playing for a club abroad in a smaller league, which one costs more? The Great Mass Debater 1,202 Posted June 16, 2020 Sorry KC, only just saw your previous thread on FM20 - I've kept away from this forum during the shutdown. Just perusing the General Information section. Quite surprised at the listings. They are as follows Legends Huckerby, Forbes, Dublin, Drury, Eadie, Roberts, Watling, Stringer Icons Keelan, Fleck, Mackay, Neighbour, Crook, Fleming, Peters, Sutton, Walker, Adams Favoured Personnel Holt, McKenzie, Goss, Hoolahan, Ashton, Bowen, Pukki, Zimmermann, Webber, Jackson Have to say Im quite surprised by this. There's no way Id have Simeon Jackson but not Russell Martin. No Gunn. And there is no way Holt or Hoolahan are anything but Legends. Goss is a legend by virtue of 'that' goal. And Dublin? Yes he was a youth product, and yes he was a hero when he did play for us, but at the end of his career. No Tettey - almost a decade with the club. No Bellamy, though I can kind of accept that one as only with us breifly I guess, but still one of our best ever players, I mean, Ashton makes the list, same argument. Considering that it's only a superficial feature, I don't think much effort goes into it. Aside from Holt, Hoolahan, Pukki, Zimmermann, Webber and Jackson who have just been tagged as favoured personnel, the list has remained static for a decade. You're probably right in that it is only a superficial feature. But Holt, Hoolahan, Gunn and Goss are undeniably Canary legends. Tettey, though never my favourite player, has been with us almost a decade. Players with that level of service automatically become legends for me. I know Im getting butthurt about something that doesnt matter. But it goes against the grain. It reyt sticks in my craw!
