Tom NCFC 0 Posted February 1, 2006 What did we pay for Ashton last year? I think Earnie is our new record signing!
no1canary 0 Posted February 1, 2006 im not sure on that one. i would have thought ashton is still our record signing, as didn''t ashton cost more upfront?
Hucka Hucka Huckerby 0 Posted February 1, 2006 He will be if he plays for us long enough! We paid £3m for Ashton, Earnie could end up costing £3.5m
Web Team - Vince 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Ashton was £3m + half a million conditional on England appearances.http://new.pinkun.com/content/NCFC/Squad/2005-2006/DeanAshton.aspx
Flying Dutchman 744 Posted February 1, 2006 Technically not.I think the Earnshaw deal is about 2.75 plus additional clauses, so he wont be a record signing as theres only about 2.75m down
Tom NCFC 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Does anyone know what Earnie''s clauses are?

MagicMikeyB - Bristol Canary 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Hi, I think Earnshaw will do a good job for us if we can play to his strengths, and get the teams confidence off the floor. What happpend to good old fashioned bull dog spirit. We need to get some stability back in defence and take more risks, we are not attacking enough. Id rather see us loose by attractive attacking football then loose 1-0 like we have at home this season.
