He was way too lenient with Johnson both over his lockdown address on TV prior to Parliament (and presenting one to Parliament which was different from what he'd already announced on nationwide TV) and then the lying in Parliament - as clear a breach of the Ministerial Code as you could ever hope for but one which appears to have gone totally unpunished.
