......and Smith must score. 1,342 Posted May 11, 2020 Games to be played at home/away grounds City 1st ? If you read the article is says that the " Premier League backs clubs who want neutral venues plans to be reconsidered ". It goes on to say that the Chief Exec said that the organisation is in ongoing dialogue with government, police and ground safety officials. Nowhere does it say that games WILL be played at home/away grounds. Not telling porkies are you ?

keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted May 11, 2020 Or are they going to be streaming Home and Away to neutral grounds?
HairyTeeth 16 Posted May 11, 2020 Neutral grounds was a non starter due to the 19 home and 19 away contractual issues. They would have to give us an amended contract but we dont have to sign it.
Herman 9,756 Posted May 11, 2020 Home and Away!? Is that still going?
JF 694 Posted May 11, 2020 To clear up city1st/bills shall we call it inaccuracies. All 20 clubs are against the neutral venue plan, some more so than others but up to 12 clubs strongly oppose it. Seems some will lose out on commercial deals if they can’t play at home. So the PL are to take those concerns to the government and see it there is any possibility that games can go ahead at home venues. But that is far from a given to happen. Not telling porkies are you ? err, did I mention when ? or that I will normally post part of the article so as to highlight its contents and you might care to note the (not to) subtle difference between 'to be' and 'will'' or that the question mark was intentionally left off to give the cage a gentle rattle and nice to see who refers to me as City 1st Cluedo, anyone ? Capt. Pants 4,227 Posted May 11, 2020 Reads like the EPL have kicked it into the long grass again hoping that govt will curtail the season for them. Complete shambles.

WTF are you on ? What has ' when ' got to do with this article ? ' to be ' and ' will ' means the same thing here. Why not admit you forgot the question mark and why shouldn't you be known as City 1st ? You're always banging on about other multiple posters after all..... Cluedo ? Mad Hatters Tea Party. Making Plans 936 Posted May 11, 2020 Home and Away games? Yeah right, never gonna happen. Imagine Liverpool playing at home in a game that could decide the Champions. Half of Liverpool would be on the streets around the ground for most of the day and night. Would be similar at most grounds too.
