I must confess I know nothing about this player other than his height,

nationality, age, where he can play and that we''ve taken him on loan

from Fulham.

Can anyone give me an informed opinion on what quality of footballer he is?

I''m exactly the same - I''d never heard of him. Still lets hope he does well!

Best I can do is add that he is a full international for Pakistan - I didn''t know they played internationals.Dont'' know any more though.

Gleaned from the internet ...

Rehman is a product of the Fulham  academy ,

Is a defender  , who can play  full back , centre half , midfield  .

England youth international .

Did a loan spell to Brighton  , where he scored twice in seven appearances .

Can play in a number of positions !   [  Nigel will love that ! ]

And [ groan ]  he`s injury prone  ....  

There`s a certain irony that we got him from the club  that  pushed us  back into the fizzy  ! 

Lets see what he`s made of  come Sunday !!

he was highly rated when he broke into the fulham first team and got a lot of press as he was as asian player who had made it at a prem club. He has played england youth and under 20 football but somewhat reluctantly pledged his international future to pakistaan after he was ignored for the england under 21 squad.

I am not sure why he drifted out of the fulham 1st team as he had a v good run earlier this season.

I hope he settles in & does well, the only thing I''m miffed about is why we sign muslim players with such a small squad.

That''ll be him & Safri out for Ramadan next season now.

Silly policy for a club who can not afford a large squad if you ask me.
