Hm I''m not sure. If I could have had my way then we would have kept Ashton and signed Commons, Halford and Danns for the midfield. I think it was a fair price for Earnshaw but I would have liked to have seen Jerome brought in. I''m very happy with the signing though!

Earnshaw. Also Earnshaw is fast, very fast, and that is priceless in

this (or any) leage and cannot be taught. We can get a powerful foil

for him at a later date, but the oppertunity was there and IMO we

rightly took it.

I would rather have bought a decent lower League striker (like Abbott of Huddersfield or Sharp from Scunthorpe) and use the money on some GOOD midfield players like Halford and Idiakez.

[/quote] What is the problem with earnshaw this lad will get more goals than the disloyal ashton ever did and he will be a much better buy in time Ashton used us as a stepping stone for his big ego and we paid very nearly the same for him.
