Plain digestive & cheddar = food of kings

I'm also unhealthily partial to a Viennese finger, pink wafer, or those stupidly generously thickly bechocced rings (one of the Fox’s classics?). (All of these have potential  innuendo value but am not bothering to work on it, as I’m too overexcited about the thread topic)

Golden crunch are incredible.

Malted milk and party rings deliver unbelievable taste and childhood  nostalgia.

Basically, I will destroy anything beginning with B & ending in iscuit

Lincoln, Abbey Crunch, Gypsy Creams, ANZacs

None of those exist... shame, as they’re all very Wonka-esque sounding

All biscuits are Beelzebub's tainted wafers for the immoral.....and are only consumed to provide sustenance to their depraved host's tapeworms......

When one gets that pang for munchies.....try instead, a lovely hot bowl of mung bean broth......

Me personally?....I like to get a twix & bite a small piece off either end and use it like a straw dipped in a cup of milky coffee....pure heaven......😑

Finn Crisp is an occasional alternative but can be rough on the gums.

However, the original plain Ryvita is by far the best. Some of these newer flavored creations are not to be recommended. Dark Rye is out as well due to it's laxative effect.

If the shops are sold out of Stork margarine (a frequent occurrence) then I have an alternative preference of lacing the biscuit with a healthy dollop of beef dripping.

Yummy.

Have to agree with this. I do not have the self-discipline not to scoff them all if I buy biscuits, but just about enough not to buy them in the first place.

I am also a biscuit monster, so I really cannot choose, the best I can do is narrow it down to fig rolls, ginger nuts, malted milk, hobnobs, chocolate hobnobs, digestives, chocolate digestives and bourbons.........

Wasnt you saying you had type 2 diabetes was it Plastico?

By chance I’m baking a batch of these* today with the little ’un.

Super tasty & easy to make (caveat for the oven & timing work,... always the critical factors once the proportions are taken care of)

*In 1970, Mary Berry called them New Zealand biscuits, and having grown up with the Hamilton All-Colour Cookbook, I continue the unjustified and arbitrary anti-Oz discrimination to this day.

Yummy.

Funnily enough my wife made beef dripping last weekend. Wouldnt touch margarine though, Devils Gut Grease.
