Perhaps the 4 greedy clubs should be relegated for lacking morals...

ncfc (R)

Newcastle (R)

Bournemouth (R)

Spurs (R)

Hate to say it but Leeds players and manager have shown some real class as well in voluntarily taking a pay cut so early!

And speaking of morals, maybe we don't like watching multi millionaires playing football for our club, but that is the ridiculous marketplace we have, whether we like it or not.

I dunno, Huckerby was already minted when he came here as he was on £40k a week when that was mega money and had some very tasty signing on fees, I liked watching him!

I was being sarcastic Teemu! As it's the lowest form of wit and I'm not that bright I tend to try humour😐

The club in taking this action is morally corrupt and deserves the brickbats that will come its way.  This has come from the top which needs to backtrack on this idea.  Delia has been repaid the millions initially loaned she ought to ensure City staff receive their salaries without recourse to the nations finances.  Greedy socialism at work no moral compass here.

We should be better than this!

The outside world will just see City and others who furlough as having their snouts in the trough, there are many SME's that don't have £75m in their back four

I've read some nonsense on here, but these two posts combined take the biscuit.    Call it ignorance, trolling or binnerism, it's still nonsense.

Looks like Bournemouth have had a change of heart

So that's Liverpool, Spurs and now Bournemouth overturning their furloughing after supporter pressure. Just us and Newcastle then? (The latter of whom are about to be sold)

Could you explain why that’s the case ?

I could, but it's not worth the time when the two posts concerned are motivated by sheer avarice towards the club simply for the sake of it.

What I find hard to fathom is why the club hasn’t Furloughed the players? legally the club could do this and save on their salaries, the players would be eligible to receive up to the £2500 per month max payments! I’m I wrong in my thinking?
