Not jumping to conclusions but reading between the lines

Recommended Posts

Doncaster says we should not jump to any conclusions by the fact Flybe are our sponsors for the next 3 months.  Is it a coincidence that they become sponsors before the highest profile game of the season that will also be televised, wouldn''t this be a sponsors dream to receive the publicity, after all this is why sponsors spend their advertising budget.

So Neil I won''t jump to conclusions, but the fact Proton are willing to give up the best opportunity for publicity seems a dubious decision.  So next seasons sponsors will not be Proton/Lotus.

Yet another example of the Club spinning stories and expecting the supporters to swallow it.

How much is the deal worth, how long, The Proton deal was publicised enough at the time.

That''s just what you are doing Paul or whoever you are. You are so desperate to denigrate the club that you have to make up stuff, speculate then, then damn the club on the basis of your anti club attitude.

Odd in the same season that our third world neighbours have failed to get a sponsor for their North Stand and have seen their youth sponsors go belly up - rescued only by City agreeing to play a youth game at Poorman Road - you should choose to claim that this addition of sponsorship is the club " spinning stories and expecting the supporters to swallow it."

You know naff all about this. The recent article on Earnshaw''s transfer has shown how much rubbish by people like you is posted on here.

The only person " spinning stories and expecting the supporters to swallow it." is yourself.

Perhaps you might care to tell us why as a supposed ''City fan'' that might be

Youre not interested in the club maximising its revenue then, well thats ok, less money for your hero to waste on useless lumps.  The Flybe investment will be significantly less than a major motor manufacturer.

You must be losing interest in your club, obviously too fickle too care.

Who is this Paul, getting me mixed up with someone else, perhaps if you got yourself a university education like Mr R you could read properly.

You can have your opinion and if Proton renew or the Flybe sponsorchip exceeds current Proton deal I shall be first to post an apology.

Responses from the usual suspects only to be expected.

Now we''re bickering & sniping over SPONSORSHIP!!!!???  Good grief, what has this board come to?  Everything seems to be boiling down to a battle between WO''s & KTF''s doesn''t it?
