York Canary 28 Posted March 28, 2020 To help ease the boredom, here's an interesting debate to have: Name, in your opinion, the best XI to play in the Premier League era (1992 - present). Formation must be 4-4-2 and each player should be put in the position they're best known. The twist? You can't name any player who has played for the following teams: Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur. Good luck!

Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 4,613 Posted March 28, 2020 I've tried to steer clear of players from the 90s and early 00s as I was too young to remember them properly, although I did make two or three of exceptions. Jaaskelainen; Coleman, Jagielka, Coloccini, Harte; Maddison, Cahill, Speed, Le Tissier; Di Canio, Shearer. There's no obvious width in the team and it is a little bit attacking, so if this were a real team I'd probably axe Maddison to put in an extra centre back and play a 3-4-3 system with Di Canio and Le Tissier playing as tens behind Shearer and Coleman and Harte providing the width.
