No new contract for McVeigh

Paul McV not to be offered new contract merely existing 1 year extension of current contract to be exercised.

With interest from other clubs I do not believe Paul will be over the moon by extending his current contract as Worthy is unlikely to play him if Leon is fit.

No one came in for him when he was transfer listed in the summer.

Will anyone want him now? I love his style of play but he does go missing and by the sounds of it, disruptive in the dressing room.

I wouldnt be surprised if he turned up at southampton next season.

He usually goes missing when worthy has ordered us to play hoofball.  Anyway a missing Mcveigh is far better than most of our current crop actually being in the team.

He''d hadn''t played for ages in the summer but he''s been on top form of late. Also if he doesn''t extend his contract, he can leave for free at the end of the season and I''m sure there are plaenty of clubs who would snap him up for nothing!!!
