Item on EDP 24 about Cameron Jerome continuing to play in Turkey says he scored at Wembley in Milk Cup final!

It may have been changed recently after you read it or you may have misread it, but what it says now is:

Cameron Jerome is a player remembered fondly in these parts for becoming the first City player to net a goal at Wembley, with the Canaries victory in the Milk Cup arriving courtesy of an own goal.

Admittedly a strange non sequitur of a sentence, out of context !

But no weird apostrophes’.. so I’m not complaining..

But I think 'the Canaries' should have one here.

If you replace 'the Canaries' with 'Norwich', the sentence reads:

'Cameron Jerome is a player remembered fondly in these parts for becoming the first City player to net a goal at Wembley, with Norwich victory in the Milk Cup arriving courtesy of an own goal.'

Surely that needs an apostrophe?

I get it now.  First player to actually score at Wembley as Milk Cup goal was an own goal.  Didn’t come over like that though!
