cornish sam 944 Posted March 16, 2020 Good one KC, I think I have all of them apart from the wingers and the last sub and I know I'm going to kick myself about the wingers...
shaunieboy77 73 Posted March 16, 2020 Nice one. Got them all. CL had me for a bit.
Icecream Snow 761 Posted March 16, 2020 Yeah the two wingers are nasty. Thought one was Paul Hughes but it's too late for him.
king canary 7,580 Posted March 16, 2020 I'm slightly concerned I've got the positioning wrong with the midfield- from my memory we had quite a few midfield injuries and had three players I'd generally call wingers in a four man midfield.

PH is more well known as a manager, sacked last year (though not exactly a well known manager).

Ah yes, it was on the tip of my tongue that one, now I've got that... I still don't think Neil shiperly ever played right wing for us though...

king canary 7,580 Posted March 16, 2020 Rob Green Steen Needergaard Craig Fleming Malky Mackay Adam Drury Nicky Southall Gary Holt Clint Easton Paul Heckingbottom Iwan Roberts Paul McVeigh Subs Paul Crichton Chris Llewelyn Ian Henderson Zeema Abbey David Nielsen
Icecream Snow 761 Posted March 16, 2020 I remember the home fixture vividly as David Nielsen was on loan from Wimbledon, and they failed to put a clause in his loan to prevent him playing for us. He scored one, won a penalty, and Kelvin Davis was sent off for throwing the ball in Nielsen's face.
HazzaJet 252 Posted March 16, 2020 Thanks for this KC - really miss that “name that team” game where you put the player’s surname in a box and if it was correct it would light up. Had a look at it and the only players I couldn’t get were the wingers, Llewelyn and Henderson

Mind you, Hucks and Dion, Earnie and Etuhu were good players. Obviously we love PMcV but I can't remember him being that fantastic in his second spell.
