Aren't you shooting the messenger here??

Good Law Project are the very opposite of Johnson in that they are always very sure of their facts before they say anything, and from memory I think they have won every time they've ended up in court with the Government.

You may not like the message but it is unquestionably true however unpalatable you find it.

Is that the Tory Campaign HQ's official line, or are you just doing a bit of unpaid weekend overtime?

A very considered response. I particularly admire the way you logically rebutted his arguments one by one.

Ron - He's a self- publicist that if I recall was trying to argue with all his cherry picked facts and figures, graphs and leapt to conclusions to bamboozle people that we'd all reached herd immunity early summer 2020 - before the  'second wave' hit (I'd guess he'd argue Delta was different) . He's just trying (much as per Johnson) to sell a story that we all want to hear that we don't need to do anything. Easiest sell in the book (How's is his diet books doing?) to the unwary.

If he's got something to say there is absolutely nothing to stop him putting forward a peer reviewed paper in say Nature with any of his sources. Arh but no - there is that 'conspiracy' against the facts.....

Until then, well we'll actually stick to the experts and internationally agreed science. Of course there's more to learn and no doubt our understanding will change but not by his blarney.

Did you actually bother to read any of the articles I referred to, or were your references to me your only concern? If you're desperate for a signed photograph you only need to ask.

I don't need to . Others much better qualified than him or me have already done it .His much loved graphs have been ridiculed by proper mathematicians , everyone of his predictions about the course of the pandemic have been proved to be wrong by proper epidemiologists and virologists.

Could you provide some links please.

You don't have to of course, but then I'd have no more reason to believe you than him.

Quite honestly, I didn't read the articles.  I am  of sure I have missed much but please feel free to provide a summary

Can I have a signed photo?  That would be smashing. Yes, please!

In all seriousness though like some pseudo sexual shark you venture onto these pages only when you scent blood. Thank god the other half of the act hasn't made an appearance too.

It's certanly true that I consider it important to hold the government to account when they should be. It's rather the essence of democracy to do just that. I praised the vaccine roll-out at the time (If you are really that bored you can indeed trawl back to confirm that), but like the report produced by parliament itself I believe there is very much to criticise in this government's mishandling of the crisis.

Also high level of increase for Norwich must surely be linked to vaccine levels being well below the national average.

That, and the rise was later here than in the North. We may rise bit further but many areas have topped out now in this wavelet.

Good news guys over the last two days we have vaccinated hundreds of unbooked boosters many who did not receive a text, letter and their GPS did not even point them in the right direction. As I mentioned earlier ( please don’t think that’s a told you so ) we should we boosting at 5 months, not 6 and as I mentioned a week ago I believe we will now be moving to 5 months.

If you have not received a letter or text, but you are eligible ( even if the system does not let you book, get to a walk-in if necessary, you are not as been mentioned jumping any queues you are getting what you are entitled to. Over 50’s and vulnerable, 6 months you can get it, please don’t sit around waiting weeks for what you are entitled to and like I say I suspect it will be 5 months in the next few days.

With hubs shut by the government I realise it is harder to book, but try not to put it off if possible

Thanks @Well b backas always your input is invaluable and I couldn’t agree more. I’m at 5 months as of tomorrow, so let’s hope they bring it forward ASAP.

I will ignore the predictions above but the schools out should at least momentarily take the foot off the gas a bit but no doubt the number of tests will also drop too.

However, one thing I heard this morning which did ring true was that the government won't jump to plan B+ until after COP26. Reminded me of India being 'delayed' on the red list last year and the consequences.  Deja vu.

One link is on there if you look back of a doctor looking at one of his talks, which included one of his graphs ( that he claimed was an approved paper ) was a nine year olds homework, who called himself professor Pog.

The other link you don’t need, just go to Brazil, who followed his method, they are trying to get their leader tried for offences against humanity.

do you know if specialist teachers (teaching autistic and vulnerable kids) count as front line essential?

My Wife has had her 6 months and got double AZ so would be good to get her a dose of Pfizer but not sure if she qualifies.

Also, are they doing group 6 this time?
