Branston Pickle 3,635 Posted March 9, 2020 I guess it’s not clear yet - could well be our last game in front of a crowd until next season. Would be just our luck to get to the final in a year we can’t go and watch....

sonyc 5,491 Posted March 9, 2020 (edited) "Best estimates" (modelled worst case scenario) is that 100,000 will die (this is from government sources) rather than 500,000 previously reported). This death rate is far below the 1918 WW1 contagion (over 1 milion). Interesting now that the government is relying heavily on scientic experts (when of course experts were denigrated in the Brexit campaign by the then cabinet...Gove, Johnson especially). These experts have stated that decisions have to be political ones. Edited March 9, 2020 by sonyc

Mello Yello 2,280 Posted March 10, 2020 Nobody is gonna crowd into my living room sneezin' streaky snot an' coughin' up dockers oysters - when I can watch it in comfort on my own on the telly box whilst drinking tins of luvverly ale......(But that's only if they play behind closed doors).....If they don't play behind closed doors, I'll attend and wear my footy scarf as a mask, put on my almost sterile gardening gloves (I haven't got a garden) and carry a hip flask full of cheap voddy to use as alternative hand cleanser......One slurp for me.....an ickle droplet splash for the hands......Another slurp for me.....another ickle droplet splash for the hands......and repeat......
