A unique occasion.

Yes, over the years Norwich City has won some big games or won from improbable positions or at the last minute but I cannot think of anything comparable to this win.

In a massive stadium against one of the biggest Clubs.

With the expectation of a huge following.

Coming back from an early goal down.

Holding out under intense late pressure.

Going to extra time and digging in (DF's subs were spot on BTW).

Going to penalties and coming through despite being behind.

We have won at Wembley but in poor or 'easy' games. This was about character, spirit, courage, sticking to your beliefs.

Our young players fully came of age tonight.

I genuinely can't recall a win of this character in my 50 years following City.

Can anyone else suggest a match to top it? Gallant losers, yes. But this was a refusal to be beaten.
