Feedthewolf 4,786 Posted March 3, 2020 Oh, and tonight's attendance is 15,678. Wonder how many will show up on Saturday for their 'Grade A' glamour match with table-topping Coventry?
ricardo 7,239 Posted March 3, 2020 I would like to have a peek at TWTD but I think its bad manners to intrude on private grief.

Oh,not only do you have the irony of one of our ex-loan players scoring but...............it's the same name as their millionaire benefactor and saviour 😂 Good point! "It's an own goal by Evans..." ...on top of appointing Keane, Hurst, Lambert, extending Lambert for 5 years, etc., etc.
Surfer 1,547 Posted March 3, 2020 (edited) Oh dear. Well I am sure that Saturday will be better - show those Sky Blue what a real Blues team can do. The half-time whistle was greeted by more boos after a woeful first period from the much-changed Blues. Town, looking utterly bereft of confidence and dynamism, had struggled to get hold of the ball throughout the half with Fleetwood dominating possession although to little effect until their goal five minutes before the break. Now 6 points behind 6th place and everyone around them has games in hand. And Saturday is Coventry 😉 Edited March 3, 2020 by Surfer

Crafty Canary 490 Posted March 3, 2020 Another epic performance by the carthorses under the expert tutelage of Special Agrnt Lambert. 😂😂😂
Mason 47 1,351 Posted March 3, 2020 When Lambert went to them, there was a buzz because he was seen to be a cut above, Prem-level. Anyone that thinks Neil Warnock is coming out of his comfy Sky gig to get involved with a tailspinning toxic L1 club like them....

It really is shocking how bad they have become...
Feedthewolf 4,786 Posted March 3, 2020 After 12 games, they were seven points clear at the top of the table. Since then: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/formtabelle/wettbewerb/GB3?saison_id=2019&min=13&max=
Since 1980 27 Posted March 3, 2020 If Lambert doesn't get them out of this mess can't see him getting a job in a higher league. Can't be many who've managed in the PL that have ended up managing in League 1several years later.
Surfer 1,547 Posted March 4, 2020 Oh dear https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town-v-fleetwood-town-match-report-1-6543609 "We''ll be struggling to retain some of our better players" 🙂 Loved the fact Fleetwood played in yellow tonight - after Oxford, come on Coventry you can do that too ....

Christoph Stiepermann 1,120 Posted March 4, 2020 Take a look at their next manager wishlist thread. Bless, they still haven't realised they're now a toxic, impoverished division 3 club. Chris Hughton? Aitor Karanka? 😄 Even Karl Robinson and Mark Robins wouldn't swap their gig with the Portman Road. You just know their next manager will be Steve Evans and I can't wait to see the fallout from that one.

Good shout though; if he were unemployed, he'd have been absolutely nailed on.
