Surfer 1,547 Posted February 25, 2020 It’s that winter break, don’t do anyone any good. So who do you want to take the remaining two relegation places? West Ham and Villa for me, mainly for Karma reasons.
......and Smith must score. 1,310 Posted February 25, 2020 Shame the clubs in our mini-league are doing their best to help us out but we just haven’t the nous to take advantage.

Need Villa to come and implode due to FFP rules and Watford, who will lose all their good players.

Watford not lightly dismissed in that respect, either

I doubt many of that side would stick around, there’d be some serious rebuilding work to do. They’d lose a lot of players. Though in fairness they’d at least have Jarrod Bowen who’s proven to be a decent Championship striker at least. I think Brighton would be in better shape, but to be honest, and I’m not being biased, I don’t think any of those clubs will come down as prepared and ready as us. The club would likely implode with fan pressure against owners taking the drivers seat.

Difficult to say. I think the money worries are overblown a bit- like when Newcastle came down, they've got several players who would go for big sums- Felipe Anderson, Declen Rice, Issa Diop etc- and they'll also probably be able to attract players who wouldn't usually drop to Championship level

My point is more about the fan mentality - they're desperate for a change of ownership and going down means they'll probably start to get nasty about it. That can easily cause a promotion challenge to collapse.
