city4eva 202 Posted February 13, 2020 I would rather take the train but last returning train is 2330, if game goes to pens would that leave enough time to get back to liverpool street?

dylanisabaddog 4,728 Posted February 13, 2020 The Club Canary coaches are leaving at 2.30. Six hours for a 100 mile journey so they should just make it
Canary73 146 Posted February 13, 2020 I went to the Arsenal game cup game and although only going to Chelmsford there were later trains back to the Fine City at Mindnight and 0030 albeit it poorly advertised by Greater Anglia. Journey can be shortened by changing at Stratford and getting the Bishops Stortford/Merdian Water train and avoid Liverpool St although there is less chance of getting a seat if you join at Stratford as plenty of Spurs will be on the train too. Pockthorpe 515 Posted February 14, 2020 (edited) City4eva , we went to the league game at Spurs by train . We did hang around to applaud the players and Farke and then there was a big old queue at Northumberland Park Station to get the train back to Liverpool Street . We just missed the 22.30 train that night . That was with a 7.30 ko . Extra time and penalties would make the 11.30 extremely tight imo . You’d think they’d put a later train on . A lot more of us this time . Wonder if the club is having a word ? Staying over in London this time ! Edited February 14, 2020 by Pockthorpe

By the time people had walked to ground was a mad rush.
