TWTD Having Yet Another Meltdown.

Recommended Posts

Haven't been over there yet but their blogger Alex posted up 'broken seats and absolute limbs' .... it's Burton ffs, BURTON!

They're taking great pleasure out of our struggles this season, while they make hard work out of Accrington, Fleetwood and Lincoln.

Didn’t Oxford win their last game 5-0 or something 🙂 still there is still time for the mighty blues to bounce back and crush them.

Meanwhile I see Coventry have gone top and Fleetwood have also leapfrogged Ipswich and Portsmouth to push the Tractor Boys to 8th.

I'm listening on Radio Suffolk... call it Schadenfreude.

I'm sure I could hear Oxford fans singing "Come on you Yellows !!"
(Had to double check that Oxford's primary kit colour was indeed yellow !)

Radio Schadenfreude? Might catch on, but tricky to fit into the ditties.

Chortle.

Yes, a friend’s a big fan of (what I dutifully call) the Mighty Bullocks and we do enjoy fondly exchanging “Yellows!” chants, either when they play Ippo or when we play Swindon or Reading. In fact, I’ve just done so. Oh, what fun we have.

Chortle.

Ipswich have gone from being 1st by a point after 27 games to 8th, 8 points from the Autos, just 5 games later.
5 of the 7 teams above them having games in hand. 3 of those 5 teams have 2 games in hand.

Can somebody confirm that the Scum are now a mid table team ?

The bonus is that Norwood their joint top scorer is out injured for a month and the other one Jackson got sent off today and faces a 3 match ban. 😂😂😂😂😂

Pretty big slide for Ipswich : 19 points from their last 18 games - I can't see them scraping 6th at this rate

Rotherham : 36 points from their last 17

Coventry : 34 points from their last 15

That's relegation form. 😂

Eleven games left and twenty points clear of trouble.

Crowd turned on him at the end I hear.

How awful.

Doesn’t matter how much the binners cry he’s just signed a 5 year contract with Evans to remain in charge. Evans doesn’t really care much about the crowds opinions. Long may it continue

I see on there one of them sought refuge in a 28 year old derby win over us. Desperate times.

Their glorious bloody history is just about all they've got to cling on to right now 🤣

Source? I want more details, the juicier and more forensic the better. More than 19,000 there to watch them lose... how long before 'kids for a quid' becomes 'season tickets for a tenner'?

The binners don't seem to grasp that Evans, like Randy Lerner, doesn't want to put any more money into the club. It's damage mitigation now, and like at Villa, Lambert has a track record of getting on with it when his budgets been cut.

Waveney's having a bit of fun on there right now.

Even better it's looking likely we won't have to play them next year.

Oh dear. What a shame. Never mind.

They can keep him if they want.
