Canary dwarf 221 Posted January 26, 2020 Absolutely shocking I've seen cow fields in better condition at least they won't be in the hat for the next round 😒

GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,748 Posted January 26, 2020 (edited) In "my day" most pitches in every league were like this at this stage of the season... Edited January 26, 2020 by GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary

wcorkcanary 4,334 Posted January 26, 2020 My local club is an amateur small town club, they have just had a training pitch laid that that was better than tranmeres pitch before we got it fixed, absolute disgrace for a pro club....do they play rugby on it as well or grow strawberries in close season.

The centre circle looked like Hermione's undercrackers when the GE exit poll results came in... 🙃  Edited January 26, 2020 by Jools
Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB 1,023 Posted January 26, 2020 Derby County used to cover their pitch with sand, presumably to soak the mud up, I seem to remember somebody from the coaching staff doing "sand dance" moves on the touchline and of course there was the incident whereby the penalty spot had to be repainted before Derby County could take a penalty........ Surfer 1,547 Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) Many pitches were like that as late as the 80's. Even though one of the better pitches, Carrow Rd could be pretty bad. Look up some old video from then.... P.S. we couldn't defend back then either 😂  Edited January 27, 2020 by Surfer
