What is in your red and and my blue text has been proven to be obviously true, as for the rest the club said they were promoted a season too soon and so there are other issues at play than what you are pointing out. But luck has a way of balancing itself out over the course of the season, and there have been many games where we've played as well as our opponents but have still lost. Take any number of games individually and we could claim to have been 'unlucky' not to get something, but when you take the season en bloc then it enables us to identify repeating patterns.
