Herman 9,755 Posted January 22, 2020 Sad to see a true legend gone. Relieved that he and his family don't have to suffer through that terrible illness anymore. RIP Terry.
A Load of Squit 5,161 Posted January 22, 2020 RIP Terry. Always liked the fact that he was so worried about getting decent pint he started his own brewery and unintentionally started/popularised the micro-brewery trend. Cheers!
keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted January 22, 2020 Forever remembered as "He isn't the Messiah" but he gave a lot more to the ensemble. The perfectionist out of the group apparently. Just amazing to think I grew up with them and now they are all going. "This comedian is no more. He has ceased to exist"
Essjayess 307 Posted January 22, 2020 Palin, Cleese, Idle, Gilliam, Chapman and Jones..how ever this extraordinary collective of talent managed to get on the BBC screen in the late 60s with their chaotic and crazy Goon-esque inspired visual style i will never know, but it brought years of comedy the like of which has never and likely never will be equalled. RIP Terry...as John Cleese has said, 2 down 4 to go.
