Solid squad addition but not sure he addresses any of our weaknesses (defending set pieces and having a defensive line sitting way too deep and desperate). I’m trying to remember who we’ve shipped out in total, I’m guessing this is the replacement for Roberts, but he can play RB too apparently. And I agree, I’d be very surprised if we’ve not already had enquiries about Buendia, Aarons etc - Daniel has been quite open saying in the last 24 hours that if a mega bid comes in then of course we will look at it, that’s football unfortunately. Jim Smith 2,314 Posted January 13, 2020 On the face of it a strange and underwhelming signing that hints to me of us stocking up on attacking midfielders ahead of sales in the summer after relegation. I am somewhat at a loss as to why we have otherwise signed two attacking midfielders who appear similar types of players to what we already have (smallish, technically decent) rather than some genuine pace or extra physicality or indeed a f**king defensive player or two. obviously though I hope he turns out to be good.
