They will be accompanying us on the way down.

Absolutely loving the Bournemouth and Villa results today (no, Villa won’t be coming back from this!).

And to cap it all, we likely have not only Godfrey back, but arguably our very best central defender, Timm, back next month too, and that man could be massive for us, a player who seems more suited to life in the Premier League than the Championship - let us not forget that!

Yes Ricardo, Villa are coming down with us. On the plus side, we will be more than £100m better off than them in August

Living in the Midlands and working in Birmingham, the only thing that is keeping my hopes up this season is praying villa get relegated and are hit hard by ffp

...with the comparitive wealth of Villa's and our owners.....think its fair to say they'll still be some way better off than us come August?

Loving this Villa game and good news for the goal difference at the end of the season. It will be a good time to play Bournemouth Sat and a win will give us a massive boost. If Godfrey / Klose and Pukki are back soon so we will be ready for the fight. Just seen confirmation Duds has signed.

Not sure about that. They have spunked more than £100m up the wall. Do you think their owners will do it again? I don't. They're heading for oblivion like our friends down the road

Despite Bournemouth & Villa getting trounced we are still 1 point worse off with 4th from bottom than we were yesterday morning.

We have to start winning for these results to have any significance.

...it would have been worse had Bournemouth had won...

It would be better if we could win a game every now and again

If we can’t beat that Bournemouth side at home it really is the end of any faint chance of avoiding the drop, they are woeful.

Haha I’m the same, off to play footy myself tonight and 3/4 of them are villa fans, long may it continue

We will give them a resounding hiding, and the points will be cut closer with many games to go as Villa and Burnley also lose 👍🏼

HC

In case you had forgotten we lost 4-0 yesterday. (i.e, our GD is now 4 goals worse than it was before)

Villa lost 6-1 so their GD is 5 goals worse than it was before.

In other words we have only gained 1 goal on them.

However, Villa are only one team out of the 6 (other than us) that can realistically be classed as being a relegation candidate.

So what of the other 5.

Well, over the course of this weekend we have lost 1 goal on Bournemouth, 7 goals on Watford, 3 goals on West Ham, 3 goals on Brighton and 1 goal on Burnley.

Please explain how you see this as being good news?
