Dr Greenthumb 742 Posted January 7, 2020 1 hour ago, Big Vince said: For the boy Farke to now come out and state that there are no positions in the team that require strengthening is just beyond belief. They conceded plenty of goals in the Championship last season and are letting in two goals a game at EPL level. Surely it should have dawned on the club that proper EPL centre-backs are required as is a proper EPL defensive midfielder, as our best player in this position is still one with no knees. It is painfully obvious that Farke, Webber and the board are colluding to get the club relegated and this has been the position ever since promotion was secured against Blackburn. They have all bought into this unachievable idea that the best way to survive in the EPL is to spend no money. The fans have been sold a false prospectus and the level of deceit coming out from the club is just odious in the extreme. This idea that Webber is supposed to be some kind of messianic figure who is going to lead the club to great things in the future (which is how he has been sold to fans) is just false, to put it politely. Farke and Webber are just stooges of the board as the latter have a long history of appointing yes-men. There is no chance that this board would ever appoint a Big Sam as such a person would be coming in to tell the board and we all know that Delia only likes people who agree with Delia. Canary dwarf 221 Posted January 7, 2020 It's a long term plan ,yes we will probably get relegated and lose a couple of players but we will bounce back quickly and be stronger for it

Yes, it would help if they were not socialists as their political ideology says a lot about their values which in turn influence heavily the way they run the club. Mr Chase was a Thatcherite which said a lot about his values that in turn influenced the way in which he ran the club. You know which I prefer.

wcorkcanary 4,316 Posted January 7, 2020 (edited) No matter how many times you have had it explained to you Vinceo, you still don't understand do you? The misery down at Portaloo rd just does not affect us at all, the only emotion you raise is pity. While we have restructured from top to bottom, refloated financially , rebuilt and restocked our academy and beaten the current league champions, your lot have had a good start , followed by a drop in form .... in the 3rd division!!! Hows that tree that's growing out of your roof. Hoping to sell it for firewood someday? ....marginal gains. Remember that phrase. Well we had police horses charging at us on Carrow Road just like the striking miners did at Orgreave so your analogy is definitely an accurate one 😉

PurpleCanary 5,531 Posted January 7, 2020 Big Vince is the Cato the Elder of this message-board, but unlike that monomaniac there’s a touch of self-mockery in his one-track obsession.

Has he got a friend called Henry? (Obscure literary reference alert). As for being a bit of a penis FF, which part does he remind you of? The scraggy bit where it joins the testicles for me. With fans like this no wonder the club gets the board it deserves. So what's your source the club is going to have half the team sold by August? I can tell you right now that's complete and utter fabrication o your part!

Isn't that more goolie associated though? I thought of bell end (obvs.) but I wanted a part that was really ugly & had no particular function. Personally I'm quite fond of my glans.
