Kanadyan Kanary 121 Posted January 6, 2020 Two markedly different ratings for Trybull on Saturday. I didn't see the game but would be interested to know what people thought. Read Norwich gave him a 9: He ran the show from midfield. The German did long and short range passing perfectly all game and was crucial to City going forward and defensively. It was the perfect defensive midfielders performance Paddy Davitt gave him 6: A spell between City's first and second goals was particularly uncomfortable in terms of coughing up possession. But very decent sidefooted effort from the edge of the area just before the hour mark only just cleared the bar.
BobLoz3 492 Posted January 6, 2020 Somewhere in between I'd say. I often feel as though Read Norwich know nothing about football, though, so take that with a pinch of salt!
All the Germans 1,075 Posted January 6, 2020 I thought he was good. I'd have given him an 7.5; he was good but not excellent (and certainly not perfect). He got caught in possession at least a couple of times in the first half, but other than that, good.
Chumino 57 Posted January 6, 2020 Paddy is on the money.
Mason 47 1,376 Posted January 6, 2020 Paddy is known to be very cold with his ratings. Having not seen the game, I would have assumed he was about a 6/10 as he is pretty much every single game he plays. This is the reason he gets starts over other more specialised midfielders IMO; he's unlikely to do anything to win you a game but statistically he's consistent and that's what Farke likes. Orly 277 Posted January 6, 2020 Have always thought Paddy's a bit harsh on Tom sometimes, but as Mason says, he's pretty conservative with his ratings.
