Loan to Dresden only hasn't left the club as the OP may have indicated.

If Lewis and Aarons depart in the summer he may be our first choice LB. Sensible move on the club's part to get him some game time.

To be fair it's not Webber's fault but if you shop in the bargain basement a larger number of those signings will not work... You sign 4/5 hope 1 works.

Low cost low risk, hasnt worked, no major loss to us.

You would certainly hope he was low cost, and its a fair assumption, but we never really know how much a player has been offered to sign. Unlike the MLS where salaries are published.

What? Amongst all the other many, many terrible signings over Webber's tenure? Yeah, on the whole they've been just awful haven't they...

Seriously Waveney, have a day off. Just one. You might feel happier.

And let's face it, from who we have signed, we've done much better than 1 in 5 over the last 2 or 3 years!

Wasn't he brought in as back up to Jamal? He has been replaced by a better option.

So, not a poor signing at all.

Let's look at this, shall we?

Good Signings
Hanley, Onel, Stiepermann, Vrancic, McLean, Trybul, Zimmermann, Leitner,  Buendia, Pukki, Krul, Rhodes, Byram,  Gunn, Reed (15)

Bad Signings
Marshall, Passlack, Heise, Raggett, Husband, Watkins, Edwards, Roberts, Franke, Srbeny (10)

Jury Out
Drmic, Fahrmann, Amadou, (3)

Still in credit for me - and definitely an improvement on the post-Lambert era of David McNally's tenure.

If we look at those bad signings a bit closer. (This maybe a turdpolishing exercise.)

Passlack, Heise, Franke and Srbeny were all brought in as back ups. They were never really used/needed so they never got a chance.

Raggett was for future potential which never materialised.

Edwards and Roberts were low risk loans which didn't work.

Marshall, Husband and Watkins were for the first team but failed to live up to expectations/ couldn't work under Farke's coaching.

All were relatively cheap/low risk.

All were cheap, Passlack was a loan too. Didn't we make a profit on Watkins?. And how dare anyone criticise Dennis!

Indeed as that is my job but if you read more closely there are a few having the same opinion but hoggy of course never picks up on them. 🤣

If not a profit then we at least wiped our noses. We will also have got our transfer outlay in loan fees on raggett and was husband not a free?

Watkins was signed on a free and sold for close to a million one season later. That sounds like a good signing to me!

Talk about damned with faint praise - Pukki and Emi 'good' signings???

Fantastic is the word that I'd use.

It's a word used to name a category, not to provide praise or criticism.

But yes you're right - Harrison Reed deserves to go into the good signings list.

Again, it's about on the field impact not profit and loss. His wages and other associated fees quite likely meant we made a loss.
