Agent Lambert contract EXTENDED

Recommended Posts

So despite relegation, clueless football (according to TWTD) and no league win since Bonfire Night.... Lambert has got a 4 year contract extension until 2025 😂

Reminder -You can watch the scummer circus on SkySports Mix today at 3pm if you want a comedy warm up to watch before proper football starts.

How the hell has he engineered that?! That's going to be very expensive for Evans when they have to boot him out, as they invariably will at some point in the next couple of years. Keep up the good work, Agent Lambert!

Is it January 1st or April 1st?

They're asking the same on TWTD. There were posts this morning saying if they lose today then surely he'll be sacked.... He had 18months on his deal too! Bizarre decision to extend.

Starting to wonder if we can't somehow engineer them being moved into Greater London - Becoming quite embarassing (albeit utterly f**king hilarious) to even share East Anglia with them

So now we see the reason for Lambert's bizarre ramblings after the Gillingham game.

He's pulled the same trick before at other clubs, but at a time when his team have been doing well.

The fact that Evans has fallen for it even though they're on a very bad run tells you an awful lot about how clueless Evans is. Was Evans afraid that someone was going to come in and poach Lambert?

That club is literally comedy gold.

Still remember people on here wishing we could have Evans not too many years ago!

I recall only too clearly them waving their fivers at us as we went down to league one. They'd hit the jackpot.... or so they thought

Just a reminder - the only decent season they've had in Evans illustrious tenure so far is when they made the playoffs and ended when we dicked them at Carrow Road. What a day that was.

You have to admire Scumbert. this is pure genius and very much in keeping with him.

He would have driven this. Now makes his "my future is uncertain" routine fall into place.

Win today against … whoever they are playing...and all will be forgiven by the binners !

Crunch game today against top of the table Wycombe. Lose and their automatic hopes are in tatters

This is such typical Lambert. Love it that their fans haven't worked him out yet, even now. Many wanted him to announce he was leaving but when he was giving that tosh about his future he was carefully lining his pockets!

Wonder how long he will retain support. His win percentage is very poor.

Interesting game for them today too.

And down to 5th now, and “proper clubs” like Rotherham and Coventry are now ahead of them. At least they are not Sunderland - their latest owner apparently wants out (maybe his loan application fell through) after two years.

They could settle around the 8th place after a few more games. Then 15 years in League One (and so on.....)
