a1canary 0 Posted January 22, 2006 "i believe they are honest in their endeavours" thank the lord - an island or reason in a sea of insanity!why does no-one even give a moment''s thought to the fact that theboard, manager, smith''s etc may actually, horror of horrors, be tryingto do what''s best for the club instead of laying into them withoutlandish horrified accusations of lies, damn lies and assetstripping!? carpio 0 Posted January 22, 2006 the club accepted the bid last Night at 7pm . Plenty of time for the press to get hold of it from west ham. When Doncaster said NO BID HAD BEEN ACCEPTED he was right. So how was he lying? Please get real the board were still in negotiation with W Ham but had not done a deal. The player wanted to go and , oh yes I have read plenty of posts on here saying £7 mil plus would be a good deal for the player and might not be a bad thing for the club as we need more players not one star. etc. So now it has happened can we please move on ?
