Surfer 1,547 Posted December 24, 2019 On 16th April 2016, Norwich's PL survival hopes were effectively dashed with a 3-0 home defeat to Sunderland. While we have our challenges ahead of us, for Sunderland the dream has gone horribly wrong. Worse than Ipswich even. All deliciously documented in Netflix's "Sunderland Til I Die documentary" and now this 😞 The Dutch describe Advent as de donkere dagen voor Kerstmis. It means the dark days before Christmas and, for Sunderland, they can never have felt shorter or bleaker. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/dec/24/sunderland-lowest-point-history-league-one-how-come-to-this?utm_term=Autofeed&CMP=twt_gu&utm_medium=&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1577206743
John Ryans Express 32 Posted December 24, 2019 I'd recommend the "Sunderland Til I Die" documentary to anyone who might not have seen it... Utterly compelling stuff !
FenwayFrank 2,717 Posted December 24, 2019 (edited) The Leeds one from last season is good too. Haven’t watched the Sunderland one, best I wait a couple of days as it not very Christmassy 😁 Edited December 24, 2019 by FenwayFrank
Surfer 1,547 Posted December 24, 2019 Was the Leeds one also on Netflix - what was the title of that? Should be good for a laugh.

Quite biased about their “ horrific “ injury crisis but well worth watching.
