Leicester match day thread

Recommended Posts

I think we created the better chances and had Cantwell made it 2-0 it could have been all 3 points. Our back 4 were very soild and actually the goal we conceded was because McLean switched off and Krul was in no-mans land. There were 2 good chances right st the end, a last ditch tackle on Pukki and a few other half chances that we should have done a bit better with. We caught Leicester on a good day, and I have to say I feel slightly disappointed we didn't take all 3 points.

I can't help but keep thinking "what if?" when it comes to all of those runs by Pukki putting the defender in his wake, just needed one more clean touch.

But that's how special he is. Every time he touches the ball I stand up thinking we're about to see another clinical finish.

And I'll never stop talking about his work rate getting back to the midfield and deeper. Love him.

Wait, what? Is this for real, and if so, does it mean a spell on the sidelines?

Or maybe when he clattered Pereira- he seemed in pain after that one too.

If Marco could score goals we would win more games. He gets many opportunities. I still think adam idah would be a good sub as a natural striker

Maddison came over to the away end at the end and got warm applause.

It was the applause just before he took the corner that they scored from that I wasn’t so happy with.

How often have you seen Idah play?

Emi clearly won the ball there, I can understand his frustration

Me too, the ref was what - 4 yards away and he still couldn't see it??

Then they VAR it and decide not to book him (amazing that they at least got that right) but still give a Leicester free kick in a dangerous position for a perfectly good tackle. It really is becoming more farcical by the week - apparently they didn't VAR the Leicester goal for the ball being outside the quadrant because they don't VAR restarts!!!

Eh? VAR can't overturn yellows and Buendia was booked.

It happens quite often when an opener gets a duck 😉

At least we have avoided Derby’s record for least PL points achieved in a season. 🙂🙂🙂

I can confidently say we can do MUCH better than that.

I didn't think he was booked but if you're right that's even worse - so they VARed it, saw it was a perfectly good tackle and still booked him and awarded a free kick against us - marvellous!
