Thirsty Lizard 3,155 Posted December 10, 2019 Went to the match tonight and it was a very entertaining game between two well matched sides. We won 3-2. Was very noticeable how the U18s are being coached to play the same way as the first team with lots of good passing and all our players looking comfortable on the ball. Star of the show for us was Josh Martin who scored an excellent hat-trick - two very good finishes followed by a stunning 25 yarder into the top corner to win the game. There were plenty of good individual performances from our lads. I liked the look of Rob Nizet, the left back from Belgium who was quick, composed and skilful and was also very impressed by our central defender Jonathan Tompkinson. Strong, imposing and composed.
