Supporters jump on that bandwagon and comment. Can it be denied that the ‘self sustaining’ model is not anything to do with the Smith family! I thought the only person to quote this was Webber, I might well be wrong but I’ve never read or heard Delia quote a self sufficient model. But it’s the way forward in my book. As for the quote regarding the championship bubble about to burst, not once have I seen anyone complaining about the greedy players and their agents, who the hell need to earn 20k a week to live? Surely its time to salary cap football at players level. The only way to bring football back to normality.

Wage cap, football back to normality, what a moronic thing to say, only under socialism maybe. Did the vote not go your way?

I’m not sure why anyone wants to bring politics into another thread, but salary cap is the only way forward to stop clubs breaking FFP rules, I can’t see how anyone can justify paying £500,000 a week for a single player, there’s no player worth that full stop. Backing you up that the only persons to reference self sufficiency is Webber and our own supporters! So no need to jump on your high horse!
