God knows what it was like facing him. Loved his curmudgeonly persona too. You could tell his tongue was lodged firmly in his cheek (well most of the time). RIP Bob. You'll always be a hero to me. Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,776 Posted December 6, 2019 I'm too young to remember him as a player, but I've seen lots of him as a pundit. I know a lot of people have criticised him in the past for being boring and miserable, but I personally always enjoyed listening to his brutally honest and blunt remarks delivered in his deadpan tone.
