Canary73 146 Posted November 30, 2019 Meanwhile the Finns have drawn a group with a couple of local derbies against Russia in St Petersburg and Denmark in Copenhagen. Yes there is the small matter of Belgium but Nordic interest also exists with Sweden already there and Norway potentially there via the playoffs.

Downside is that the stadiums are small and there are not lot of tickets available (and because of short distance there are plenty of people after those). Oh well, maybe I get still lucky in ticket lottery 😂
dylanisabaddog 4,729 Posted December 1, 2019 How on earth can Germany, France and Portugal end up in the same group! The World Champions and European Champions together. Makes no sense at all.

The World Champions and European Champions together. Makes no sense at all. They were seeded based on performance in qualifying. France were the seventh best group winner (hence being the highest ranked team in pot two) and Portugal were the third best runners-up (hence being the highest ranked team in pot three). It's just unlucky for them (and Germany) that they've ended up in the same group.
