Samwam27 606 Posted November 29, 2019 That's bad news! Really hoped he'd be here for ncfc. Really don't want a rejuvenated Arsenal playing against us now he's gone!.
Nuff Said 5,960 Posted November 29, 2019 Does this negate the "along come Norwich" curse?
Branston Pickle 4,149 Posted November 29, 2019 (edited) Don’t see a problem with this thread as it answers the question in another - though I see the forum police thinks otherwise. The writing was in the wall for a while, hopefully there’s no ‘bounce’ from him having gone. It doesn’t suddenly reduce their injuries but might allow them to play with more freedom. Making Plans 957 Posted November 29, 2019 Freddie Ljungberg in charge. Maybe they'll get OGS/FL bounce. Unfortunate but we can still beat them
City 2nd 193 Posted November 29, 2019 Was always going to happen. Pochettino ready to fill the void no doubt.
Canary Wundaboy 1,423 Posted November 29, 2019 (edited) Nah, I don’t think Poch would go straight from Spurs to Arsenal. Allegri being touted on TalkSPORT at the moment. Edited November 29, 2019 by Canary Wundaboy

pete 371 Posted November 29, 2019 I think this bolsters the along came Norwich idea. Apart from Arsenal being on a poor run and destined to end it against us the game is on a Sunday which has proved problematic in the past. The roons are not good.

jaberry2 769 Posted November 29, 2019 I'm surprised they've sacked him, when they don't have anyone lined up. I thought Ljungburg doesn't even have the right coaching qualifications yet...and can only be in role for 12 weeks. Of course you'd expect someone in the hotseat by then anyways. Who'd want to be an Arsenal fan right now.

unique 466 Posted November 29, 2019 It’s bad timing. The Arsenal players were either confused by Emery’s tactics or weren’t playing for him. I would expect them to be better organised defensively, and harder to beat.

Budapest Canary 154 Posted November 29, 2019 (edited) In the meantime Ljungberg tweeted: " I will give everything I have to put smiles on faces again." Let's hope he keeps his word, and when the final whistle goes on Sunday, he'll see a stadium full of smilig faces.
