More concessions required

Recommended Posts

Because in the 'old days' trousers were much like leggings or 'chaps", each leg separate from the other,  tubes of cloth or leather that slid up each leg and fixed/ tied around the waist.

What about the old nethers? Covered up with underpants.
And underpants are called pairs as well of course.

that's where the codpiece came in, or a sporran if you were north of the border

and a nearby sheep if you were in Wales

sadly many misinterpreted the latter, and so many uncalled for jokes sprung up

(as did the sheep when it realised what was going )

To get back to the original point of the thread, I think we need less concessions, not more. We’ve already conceded 21 goals, more than any other team so far this season.

Good idea, means test everyone,  it's the only  fair way. Anyone with income above the state pension  should not qualify for concessions,  those below,  should. Whatever  their age. Same for bus passes and tv licence .

So EU negotiators want more consessions from the UK knowing full well that any watered down deal won't get through Parliament and the Benn surrender Act ties the government's hands. This is total interference in domestic politics from a foreign power.

Stand up to bully-boys.

Why is it interference - if we don't want to accept their terms, we don't have to take them?

Plus, why do you think that 17.4 million voters of a country that wants to leave the EU should try to dictate changes to the rules of one or more countries that remain? (i.e. "We're leaving and because we want to do so in a way that is consistent with our international commitments, we want you to change your rules re borders and introduce something that exists nowhere else.")

I think we are the bully boys!
