League Cup

Premier League teams win all round except Tottenham just put out on penalties by Colchester.

Crawley - Gone to penalties with Stoke. And won!

Why can't we be Colchester?

I know right, but we were Colchester in effect against Pep's City and there is still the FA Cup and the eternal dream of Carlisle away(for me anyway)

I said that too GJL - we are pretty much using all our available ‘senior’ squad for league games at the moment and with Palace out, I’m not at all sure a midweek game would have done us any favours at all.

Carlisle away was my first Norwich game, 1992 in the league cup and I was stood on a milk crate in the paddock with my dad...

If we do ever get there, can you ask about Tangy's umbrella please?

I last saw Tangy at Roy Blower's memorial service and he certainly did not have it with him that day so can only assume it is still lurking in a damp and dusty corner ( the umbrella not Tangy ) at either Carlisle railway station lost property or the football ground.

Many years ago I went to a Carlisle away game. We got there early and they had to clear some sheep from the car park.

Never again

This all sounds great.

Oxford two up against west ham. A few upsets on the cards tonight.
