Crafty Canary 495 Posted September 22, 2019 We have beaten the 2nd and 17th placed teams and lost to those in 1st, 5th, 9th and 11th places. other than the fabulous result against Man City these results fit with the likely expectations for these positions. The major difference in this league, apart from the step up in quality of course, is that there are absolutely no easy games. Burnley and West Ham away are tough games and not just for us. To begin with it has to be an even number of games else there would be home and away bias. I've always said one third of the season and thats closer to 12 games.. How is one third of a season 12 games when applied to the championship? One third would be 15 games. 12 games is approx. one quarter of a championship season hence 9 games equivalent for the PL.
