Which players are a ‘shoe-in’ for the team each week?

Six games into the season I would say that just Pukki, Buendia and Lewis (no genuine replacement) have proved themselves an automatic selection for the season. Cantwell will no doubt suffer burn out, Godfrey is still learning, and Zimmermann is still unproven in the Pl, but apart from P, B & L, the rest of the squad seem very much interchangeable.

Christoph good enough I reckon. A huge miss.

Mo's pure class, but I don't think he suits games like today's.

Until Onel recovers I also think Todd is our best in that position.

Sorry but I wouldn't add Stiepermann as a 'shoe in'.  He's a big unit and should be able to make his presence felt a bit more. But for me he anonymous in to.many games.

If Hernandez was fit Stiepermann would probably be out of the XI by now. Has been overrun in midfield in nearly every game this season.
