Annual fireworks in city centre on Friday 8th November.  Will there be chaos?

Or will there be fireworks?

I think televised games are worth about a million each, there's a set fee for the first 10 or whatever, then paid for each game beyond that.

Inconvenient for the fans that pay to go, but good business for the Club.

Since giving up my season ticket,  (too many midweek games in the Championship) I've also decided not to go if it's on the tele so another two games I'll miss.

Not sure what the figures are for this season but according to Talksport last season each Premier League club got a minimum of £12, 312, 666 from TV rights for ten games even if they were featured less.

Then it was £1,129, 879 for each game over and above ten. Crazy isn't it ?

Up to and including the Arsenal game we'll have been on six times so unless we do a Huddersfield and sink without trace we've every chance of getting some extra dosh.
